Circle Round For Freedom
Rev. David Robins
On this Sunday closest to “Juneteenth” or Freedom Day, we gather in religious
community celebrating our spiritual and religious freedoms that are calling us to
freedom, justice and peace for all.
Sunday June 23 we begin summer worship at 9am. Theme for June 23 is Sprituality, what drives us to be spiritual.
Each week in Religious Education for the children we focus on a monthly theme from our RE curriculum “Soul Matters.”
We finish our church year in RE with the topic “What does it mean to be a people of beauty?” These lessons include finding beauty in flowers and nature, in our creations, in others, in ourselves and in all of our senses. Lessons are taught using a variety of methods including music, meditation, stories and books, art and crafts
