Worship Service and Children's Program March 24 at 10am
Speaker: Rev. Mary Edes
Each week in Religious Education for the children we focus on a monthly theme from our RE curriculum “Soul Matters.”
The month of March brings us to the theme of Journeys in R.E.
We will learn about how journeys can take us outside but also inside ourselves.
We will explore how growing is a journey in itself and presents us with challenges.
There are also journeys to justice which can teach us and inspire us.
Finally, there are beginning and ending journeys in life.
We will learn about the blessings and gifts in life.
It is also Women’s History month and that may be touched upon this month, too. These topics and others are explored with books, stories, meditation and various types of activities including arts and crafts.
