Welcome!

We are the Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia. We are small, active, liberal, friendly, musical and humorous. We have many beliefs, but one faith. No matter who you are, where you come from, or what your spiritual practice or destination might be, we are glad to see you. Please pay us a visit.
Love is the spirit of this church
and service is its law.
This is our great covenant:
To dwell together in peace,
To seek the truth in love,
And to help one another.

Unitarian Universalist Principles

Unitarian Universalists are religious people who have been working for freedom, reason, and tolerance in America for over 200 years. We at UUSL affirm and promote the principles of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations:

The inherent worth and dignity of every person,

Justice, equity, and compassion in human relations,

Acceptance of one another and encouragement of spiritual
             growth in our congregations

A free and responsible search for truth and meaning,

The right of conscience and the use of the democratic
process, within our congregations and in society at large

The goal of world community, with peace, liberty, and justice for
       all, and

Respect for the interdependent web of existence of which
                         we are a part
