RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF UUSL
Theme for October:“What does it mean to be a people of belonging?”
The topics to be covered are belonging to history, belonging to yourself, belonging and not belonging and belonging to big things. Children will be using meditation, sharing, stories, activities and art to learn about the theme of belonging.
Religious Education (RE) program is offered for children ages 5 and up. Childcare for children under 5 is available.
Each week is a self-contained session that incorporates a UU theme and works in conjunction with the worship service. The overall monthly theme is taken from the RE curriculum "Soul Matter." The class start immediately after the "Story for All Ages" and provides all participants with a safe and nurturing environment in which to share ideas about the world around us.
Religious education for children is important at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia. Parents are welcome to observe the religious education class anytime.
